Neat place to visit and eat. Upon entering you will see paintings of people from a local artist that are really cool. The waitresses are hard working and very knowledgeable about the menu. The is the main attraction and it doesn't disappoint.
Okay, The food was perfectly cooked with the right amount of Southern butter. This restaurant serves differently where they seat you and then you get your order taken in order of the people that are being seeded instead of having your own waiter or waitress. That actually extended the time and although the restaurant was full, we felt like we waited quite a while to get our food. Our fault, we came right after Sunday church.
5/5 stars Hands down, the best mom-and-pop diner in town! The warm and welcoming atmosphere is unmatched, with a beautiful display of diverse art and a kids-friendly vibe. The menu options are vast and varied, catering to all tastes. We can't wait to go back! Highly recommend! Great staff very friendly service
Absolute best experience! The staff were so nice, friendly, and personable! Enjoyed the food and it was affordable! We had the smothered andouille breakfast sandwich, the pancakes (some of the best we've ever had), the 2 eggs with country ham, and the country fried steak. We will definitely return next time we are in the area!

This place is a delightful mix of very cutesy charm and New Orleans vibes, with hand-painted portraits adorning the walls that make you feel like you’re dining in an art gallery with your Uncle Hanks art hung on the wall. Cj's Kitchen & Grille is serving up some of the best breakfast Pensacola has ever seen. Seriously, the eggs are so fluffy they could double as pillows, the grits are so grit like you will slap your mamma, and the hash browns are perfection! And just when you think it can’t get any better, they bring out beignets that taste like they were sent straight from heaven. One bite and you’ll be floating on cloud nine like the powder sugar that are on top of them! The service here is more friendly than the Pope on the Popemobile. The staff make sure your coffee cup is always full and your plate is never empty. Their smiles are so contagious, you’ll leave with a grin that lasts all day. So, if you’re looking for a breakfast spot that’s very demure, very mindful, and very cutesy, head on over to CJ's Kitchen & Grille. 100,000,000 out of 100 recommend – you won’t be disappointed!
My husband and I have been here for a year now and have been searching for a decent breakfast spot since. CJ’s is hands down, the best breakfast we have tried in this area!! The staff is super sweet and the food was 100000/10. We will be back weekly!!!!
The young gal that waited on us was very energetic and friendly. She convinced me to get the special: A Brisket Cheeseburger with Bacon and Crispy Onion Straws. It was FULL OF FLAVOR. The fries were good too. The prices were very affordable. My wife's basic cheeseburger with everything on and fries was 7.95! Can't wait to get back to try the breakfasts....!
